07 Nov Bushfire Fire Protection

This topic is a HOT TOPIC, especially at the moment and seeing how many people, animals and trees have been affected lately.
Alleviate the threat of fire through planning and strategy. Tree Culture is able to provide consultation and tree maintenance strategies to achieve this.
According to the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act (1979), any Development Application lodged for land designated as ‘bushfire prone’ requires certain protection measures under the planning law NSW Rural Fire Service Planning for Bushfire Protection (2006) (PBP). TreeCulture can help manage your vegetation to ensure it complies with the above mentioned legislation and help reduce your hazard risk. For more information about the NSW PBP (2006), see: http://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-prepare/building-in-a-bush-fire-area/planning-for-bush-fire-protection

10/50 Vegetation Clearing Scheme:
Under the 10/50 Vegetation Clearing Scheme, some residents do not require permits to remove vegetation on their property. This helps residents to prepare their property for potential bushfire threats. For these residents, removal without approval applies to trees on the property within 10 metres from the person’s home, and understory vegetation within 50 metres. For further details about the 10/50 Vegetation Clearing Scheme, visit:
